Yo Yo Flip Flops

Who says summer's over? I enjoy the changing of the seasons as much as the next person. But the one thing I drag my feet on (love those puns) is cramming my tootsies into proper shoes when the rain or snow finally demands it! Love to feel the air between my toes!

Well, here's another reason to drag it out as long as possible: Susan I. Jones, fiber artist with a flair for making all things fun, has used two great new artist tools in an ingenious project: Clover's Yoyo Making Tool and Beacon's Flip Flop Glue. You can download the tutorial here.

Love the flip flops!
Can you believe that I bought my first pair of flip flops when I turned 45!? I can't believe it! Now I love them and have about every color I can find (one for every occasion).
I love the yo-yo's very cute. I might have to do some decorating of my pairs. Cute idea, thanks for sharing

Welcome to the blog world. I am thrilled to see you here. The flip flops (or thongs to those of us from Down Under) are delightful - just the right time since we are enjoying Spring here in Australia.

Just the idea I was looking for! Our quilting bee has a retreat planned at the end of the month and this will be a great project.

Very excited to see your blog! Michael Miller fabric led me to the world of quilt fabric (I thought quilt shops were for old ladies) Lol! About five years ago I stumbled on a 1/2 yard piece of "Way to Go". It was exactly what I wanted with its browns and hunter green and rust colors with vintage trains and planes for my little boys room. What? Fabric goes out of print? Apparently I had ordered from a shop that just happened to have a little left of this print that had been OOP for sometime. This led me to a 2 month search for this fabric and finally I found 13 yards on ebay. Woohoo! Needless to say I now hoard every print that I like! I recently made a bag from the Dick and Jane line. I think that fabric would make just about anything look cute! Looking forward to checking out your blog regularly!

Kathy, welcome to blogging! Sandi Henderson sent me (and the rest of her groupies) to check out Making It Fun. Love the flip flops! Love all your fabrics -- I thank you for creating such a wonderful product. My dh and his wallet don't thank you so much, but he does not get a vote ;)
