Favorite combo ever!

I am making tote bags for all the little ones in my life for Valentine's Day this year and knitting project bags for all my grown up knitting friends! So much fun!

My all time favorite Valentine project is the oldie but goodie shaved crayon between two pieces of wax paper. You shave the crayon between the pieces of wax paper and iron it to make stained glass looking hearts. Then they get hung in the window. The more the better. Love it!

My favorite Valentine:filling glass jars with hugs and kisses for my kid's teachers. I put a note on the jar "Teachers can't live on apples alone, they need hugs and kisses too".

My current V'Day project is a quilt for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday on February 14 - great fun. And then there are 5 other birthdays in February to celebrate - some beautiful fabric would come in handy!!!!

ahhhh, those fabrics are the best yet I think. Something sentimental stirs in me, from the past? Its such a vintage look it reminds me of my childhood for some reason. Am surprised this fabric has caught my eye so much. Thank you for sharing it.

I love these colors for years. One of my favorite stories is when my 18 year old son came home with a big box of wonderful chocolates for me on valentines day. His Dad was hit and miss but he made me feel very special.

Before Valentines Day we draw and color with the grandnieces red /pink /purple hearts to give their "mamas"... we have some very faded ones that are permanently on our refrigerator.
If am so fortunate as to win this fabric bundle, then can see some little girl and baby outfits in the works.

The "fishing for you" print is too cute! One of my favorite Valentine's sewing project is pillows, because for planning an evening together at home, whether watching flicks, reading, or smooching... you can't have too many comfy pillows, and they might as well be cute, too!!!
