Front Yard Photo Hop!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We're kicking of 2017 with our stop on the Front Yard Photo Hop!
I used Front Yard Fabric by Sandra Clemons to create not one but TWO projects!
I started with some classic magnetic alphabet letters using a tutorial from All About Learning.
I think they turned out super cute (and would have made a really great Christmas gift if I had finished them on time ;))
*I added adhesive magnetic strips to the back of all the letters so they can be used on the fridge.
 ................
I also thought that Bunny Tracks would make the BEST dress for an infant.

*the back closure calls for buttons so I covered some using fussy cut flowers from Bunny Tracks.

It's a little bit big now but it should fit Baby J this summer!
I used the Hula Hoop dress pattern by Puperita for the above look.

Bake Shop on Main Street by Patty Sloniger!

https://www.michaelmillerfabrics.com/new/bake-shop.html
Bake Shop on Main Street made a splash at Fall Quilt Market!
Patty's booth was adorable and filled with baking quilts and sweet treats!

"As the name implies, Bake Shop is full of delectable decorated cakes, donuts and macarons in a bright, modern color palette tempered with deep navies and rich golds and cinnamon.

The accompanying Main Street collection contains all low volume fabrics including charming handdrawn storefronts and hand-written receipts! I'm ridiculously excited about it, too. I've been wanting to do a low volume collection for awhile now and it's finally here!!" ~Patty Sloniger

Patty is pictured above with her booth award :)
.................
Bake Shop on Main Street can be broken into three separate sections- Sugar, Spice and low volume neutrals. They will also work seamlessly together...

Can't get enough of Bake Shop on Main Street?!? Well, it's your lucky day- there will be a coordinating collection of Aurifil thread to match!

How cute is this mini quilt of nested bowls and a mixing spoon?
It was pieced by Carla Peicheff and based on a pattern by Lori Holt.

This Home Sweet Home quilt would be a perfect addition to your kitchen or living room!
Pieced by Sally Keller using an Intrepid Thread and Silly Mama Quilts pattern

Great use of half square triangles! And check out that binding!
Pieced and designed by Patty Sloniger

Mini quilt MADNESS! One more from Patty's Bake Shop booth! The quilt below features some of the coordinates from the collection.

Bake Shop sews into stunning accessories too (would make a great gift!)... these Jelly Clip purses were made by Leslie :)

...detail from Patty's Quilt Market booth... They look good enough to eat ;)

I hope you enjoyed this peek into Bake Shop on Main Street! It will start shipping to stores on February 15th. Stay tuned for more photos and giveaways... Wooo hooo!
