The anchor color for this story is a deep rich chocolate brown. This warmer version of black makes all colors next to it sparkle and pop.
It's considered a basic today but around 2005 it was considered the radical new "black". Also, in case you're wondering, it's a trend that started on the streets of Paris - specifically with brown and pink. It sounds so silly now but it caused quite a stir, suddenly the new trend was causing a rise in handbag and shoe sales (after all you couldn't be caught wearing black shoes with brown pants!) It also meant one more thing to think about when packing a suitcase- black pants? brown pants? 2 pairs of shoes? decisions, decisions....
(that's one reason my purse is black and brown)
Now that brown is the accepted norm we're starting to see "white" as the "new" color to throw in the mix.
All the colors on this bed accentuate the others.

This is so much fun! Great colors!!!
My favorite combo....What a great job of co-ordinating these cool prints.
Wow! This is a GORGEOUS collection! As far as an anchor color....hmmm...I love sewing with lots of colors, but green is my favorite!
Thanks for the chance to win! Would love to!!! :)
I love brown! Cute fabric =)
L.o.v.e! Perfect for a little girls room!!!
Love it! Very happy!
Love these prints! I find that without even thinking about it I am drawn to earthy green and blue combos. I actually have so many scraps of these that I started a quilt of just bits and pieces.
Loving the vibrant colors! As always, another MM winning colection <3
i think my anchor color would be brown in the fall!
My anchor colour is purple. You'd be surprised what I think it goes with! haha!
I guess denim would be the anchor color for my wardrobe! :) Love these bright colors!
i tend to have a lot of clothing that's purple... i have blond hair and green eyes, so purple looks really good on me (and purple makeup makes my eyes POP!)
I am loving these new colors!!
Love chocolate brown and wear a lot of it with black, but my anchor color that I always gravitate to is plum/fuscia/berry. I think it tones in so well with so many colours like olive green, navy, brown, cream, denim, grey...
This palate says one thing loud and clear: FUN! I'm a big fan of brown - it's softer and more casual than black, and is a huge staple in my wardrobe.
Brown is great and so versatile.

I actually love lime green! I pair it with brown, navy, pink, fuschia, white (of course), denim and just about anything else. It just makes me feel bright and pulled together. GREAT collection - I'll get my wheels turning...
I love all colors! Love to combine bright and bold colors and flower pattens... Chocolate brown with pink, with green, with turquoise... Everything!
The Cocoa Berry Collection is one of my favorites!
Such an awesome line. Perfect for little girls' rooms.
I adore the colors! I have a thing for polka dots...and pink. Love this collection!!!
My favorite anchor color for my wardrobe is camel. Looks great on me and looks nice with a lot of colors including brown!
Love the colors! I like the polka dots/pink and the flower print! Too cute for a girls room!

These bright colors are fabulous! And paired with yummy chocolate brown, they're even more delicious! :)
I do love raspberry and all sorts of red! And also a bit of brown, to be sure to always be well dressed!
I love white as my color anchor!! Thanks for the chance to win. :)
Those bright colors were just made for each other!
I love white as an anchor colour.
Judith.
YUM!!! My daughter would go gaga for pretty much anything I can make her from this group! ...I can see a jumper, a skirt, some room accessories....This fits her personality and her room to a t.
I suppose my anchor colour would be grey - half the house has walls in some shade of grey, and I love putting it with all the bright fabrics I get my hands on!
HI KATHY! THIS IS ANOTHER SWEET GIVEAWAY! I WEAR ALOT OF BLACK+WHITE; BUT LOVE PINKS+REDS FOR QULTING!
THANKS SO FOR SHARING1

I'm presently particularly partial to red. (You thought I was going to say, pink, right?) ;)
This would make an awesome addition to The rest of my Michael miller stash!
My basic "bottom" colors are chocolate brown, khaki, and jeans denim. I pair with tops of turquoise/aqua, coral, orange, and a purply-plum colors. So, would love this weeks bundle color story! Thanks for the chance.
I like to use brown with pink and a lime green, but my go to color in quilting tends to be turquoise!
I love using black in quilting and my wardrobe to make things pop. I seem to use white with aqua though. With my home, I paint the walls a great green color, kind of a sage/light mossy green, hard to describe, it's calming, everything goes with it because, like in a garden, flowers are in all colors and their leaves tend to be green. I also love plain maple color, it's in my flooring and cabinets. However, I do love my brights & black. :-)
I have always loved the combos of brown and green and brown and pink and it is exciting to see them so popular now. The brown really looks nice with all the bright colors and prints!
wow - adorable!
I'm beginning more and more to reach for dots and stripes for bindings. I could see any of these here being beautiful as that.
Not to mention that PRINT. Oh my gosh....that is SO gorgeous.
Brown is my ultimate "go to" color. Whether it be decorating, clothes or quilting. It is the new black afterall...
Just beautiful! Looking around at my home and myself, I'd say probablt my anchor color is navy.
My anchor color is brown. Love these fabrics!
simply awesome!! pick me ... pick me
haha
I love these color combos! They are just so much fun!
I guess my anchor color is anything vibrant. i lve the bright colors in the market today.
I love polkadots! And the floral is adorable. These colors are so much fun! Thanks for the chance to win.
I much prefer brown over black as an anchor in my wardrobe.

My anchor color its white. I love how it brings out patterns and colors and makes things that often blend in pop out. :) Great colors! Thanks for the chance to win!
bright, cheerful, happy colors!
My anchor color is blue. Those fabrics are awesome. I love the dotty ones and the bright vibrant colors.
Love the big dot prints- such bright, fun colours.
Several years ago I needed some quilting fabrics in brown and they were so hard to find. Now they are everywhere, which is great. I love the bright colors put with the browns and whites. I have a variety of anchor colors. In my house I have a lot of taupe and blue. In quilting I use every color imaginable, but lately I buy a lot of greys because they go with almost everything. For my wardrobe it's denim blue!
I have several quilt patterns just begging for a fun, bold fabric collection like this!
Oh suck pretty colors! If you ask my students they will will you that purples and teals are my staple colors!
I use beige as a base colour for dressing, but when needing a bit of colour I pair red and orange.
I have two anchor colors. Teal, or in the summer aqua and plum, and in the summer pink. i always get compliments when I wear these colors. Would love a chance to play with these fabrics - I love the bright colors!
I love this new line and am thinking a new quilt - maybe Perfect Ten - would be great for my granddaughter!
I was thinking that purple was my anchor colour but a quick look in my wardrobe shows that it's been replaced by loads of Grey - how can that be?!!
Love all the bright colours and spots in this collection. Thanks for the giveaway :)
My wardrobe anchor is teal, my home anchor is burgundy and I love all sorts of colours for quilts, but they have to go with teal and burgundy
Yellow and blue. Anything cheery too
Pretty!! I think I wear lime green about every day. So, that is probably my anchor color. As to home decor, probably red. I love bright happy energetic colors. Thank you for the chance to win.
i am embarrassed to admit i wear a white shirt nearly everyday. definitely my comfort zone.
The "base" color at our house is brown. We have a big brown velvet couch, and no matter which quilt I drape across it, it "goes". I've learned a lot about color from our couch, and no matter what changes we make, the couch stays the same. (We just keep reupholstering it.)
Thanks for another great giveaway.

My anchor color in my wardrobe is black and I think my anchor color in my quilting is white probably...Thanks for this awesome giveaway!
What a fun collection! So happy and bright!!

My anchour colour is a mcdonalds milkshake brown. I just love how it goes with everything....though Im favouring grey lately....Love this colour combo!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!!! This would be perfect to redo my daughter's room into a "big girl" room. She is just over two and will soon be transferring to a toddler bed.
Again, thanks for all of the giveaway opportunities!
Blue is my go to. Any shade. I love yellow too... ;) This is a lovely collection.
Black or aqua are my anchor colors
Pink is my favorite color, and I love polka dots!
My anchor color would be black for wardrobe; white, grey or brown for quilting. Cocoa Berry looks definitely yummy, especially when thinking of the (white) winter months...! Thanks so much!
Love white...it makes everything look so fresh and bright ;)
My anchor color was always brown to accentuate my chestnut hair. Now, though, I'm mostly grey-haired so it's changed to black, a color I rarely wore. I'm actually okay with it because it complements my blue eyes nicely. This has led me to rethink a lot of the accent colors for quilts--I'm loving black with polka dots as a neutral!!
Dark brown has a personality! Black, not so much. And bring on the clear brights! Away with the tea-dyed look and get to REAL color! Yeah!
WOWOWOW!! What an awesome giveaway! The colors are so pretty and bright. Man oh man, would I love to have those in my stash!
Red is one of my favorite colors that I use in decorating, and have lately started adding some turquoise in with the red. Love it! Thank you for the chance. :)
I do love brown. It's a very versatile color. These are very lovely combinations...rich and vibrant.
Love a chocolate brown!
Right now I'm loving Fall colors, but it changes with the season :)
Would love to win the beautiful fabrics...thank you!
Polka dots have always been my favorite, but I am digging these stripes. Best attribute overall is the bright colors!!
Absolutely LOVE the PoLkA dOtS!!!!
My base color would be brown. What fun fabrics!
jmojmo24 [at] gmail [dot] com
Brown and turquoise. Those colors give a lot of contrast as the cocoa fabrics. Colorfull and brigth. Thank you.
I wear black with everything! I'm trying to add more color though. :)
Brown has never been one of my colour choices but this dark brown is so vibrant. Love it!
bev
I love love love polka dots and stripes! Thay are so fun and both make such a great binding for quilts. What fun, sunny colors!
I love this! I'd have to say my anchor color is red; not the orangey red, but a nice blue-red. It always seems to create interest!
My anchor color is brown, I just love it! Your fabric is always so nice.
My anchor color is blue, but I have a lot of brown and camel in my winter wardrobe. I love the combination of brown with blue in a quilt. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
My wardrobe anchors consist of mostly travel friendly neutrals - grey, black and brown. The quilt I just finished was a purple/grey mix with a reissued mid-century fabric on one side and vintage Japanese silk on the other. Next projects include door draft snakes, and sleeping masks. Perfect for adding a splash of cheerful color during the winter season! I love the 'flower power' fabric! :)
I think my anchor color is usually blue. I do have a lot of green/earthy colors for home decor.
This is gorgeous!!!!! I will definitely be purchasing some of these fabrics <3
Love these!!!!!
I am so impressed with the variety you all have created in these color stories. It's really wonderful. Truly, something for everyone. And this one, is for me! These have just the feel that I tend to lean toward in fabric.
As for my wardrobe: my anchor color used to be black, but I've been making an attempt to brighten things up lately.
I wish I had an anchor color, maybe black. How boring is that.
First time here, but count me in for the drawing. :-)
Fantastic collection and colors especially the fuschia dots. For home I prefere earthy tones with bright colors in accents and for personal wardrobe always light and bright colors with cheery prints.
I have some of the Cocoa Peace Swirl and Cocoa Peace Buttons. I *love* them! I think I may have to check out Daisy Rose or Daisy Sprinkles, you know.....since they're coordinates. /sigh
Just love this combination! Robbin
These patterns and fabrics make me want to be a little girl again and eat as much candy as I want and NOT feel the least bit guilty!
I think my anchor color for my house would definately be brown/ natural colors...my wardrobe, black...it is slimming after all...and quilting, well I am just learning, so I can not say. :)
Love the polka dots!
LOVE IT!!!!
Polka dots are my FAVE (thus the name of my business)!! Black is always my "go-to" anchor color and I love to contrast it with lots of brights. I always have different blacks on hand for sewing and in my decorating!
Pink! Anything with pink in it! I think everyroom should have a little bit of pink in it! Ha! But I am a COLOR person... I just LOVE LOTS of COLOR! Thanks for the chance!
Beautiful bright colors! Love <3
magnifiques couleurs...
the stripes and dots with those contrasts!
i love it
Thank you
loving the bright colors! :)
I have to say my anchor color is heather grey, so boring. I need to change it up a bit.
My anchor color seems to be blue or purple. I think that you can match just about anything with the color purple. I enjoy this color scheme very much!
My favorite is rich brilliant yellowish green...like the color of sunlight streaming through the trees' leaves in summer.
Cheers!
Brown is my basic, black just doesn't look that great on me being blonde with hazel eyes. I adore this new collections, the brights look fantastic with the dark brown and white!
Gray is definitely my anchor color, and fuchsia too! I love these colors! They look so yummy, I could eat them! What a fun and cheerful way to brighten up your wardrobe or your home. Love it - you guys are brilliant!
My anchor color depends on the season, so for Fall it's greens and browns - but the purple hues are great too!
My wardrobe anchor color is salmon but the 2 colors I use most in quilting are blue and hot pink. Crazy.
I love to play with color and I cant say I have an anchor color! I used to wear lots of brown and black but now I love color and mixing prints!
My Anchor color is def. brown. For sewing project. Otherwise Denim blue! I tend to wear jeans on a daily basis :)
What an exciting group of fabric - makes one want to jump for joy! My usual anchor color is blue. Thanks.
Love the bright colors! Beautiful new fabric colors!
My anchor color is grey and I love these fabrics.
I for one was incredibly glad to see brown come in and stay in. Wearing black depresses me, but a deep, rich chocolate (or navy) as an anchor makes me happy. Love seeing this bright color scheme around the brown. I don't ever get enough of the whimsy of polka dots or stripes!
~Jillian
Love to surround myself with rich, bright colors!! They make my day!
LOVE polka dots!!
~Leslie
Love the fabric! So cheerful! I have been using white as a base colour a lot lately.
Polka dots make me happy! Although, we tend to wear a lot of stripes here. Lots of blues, browns and reds. In the decor & our wardrobes! Thanks for the chance to win such a happy selection!!
I am happier now...my heart sings for these colors!
Love this color scheme! I don't have any of the fabrics in this collection! Gonna have to do some shopping!
These are such bright and happy colors. I would love to make a quilt with them
WOW! SWEET+BRIGHT!
LOVE THESE FABRICS!

FUN FUN FUN!! Love all the colors! I would make my daughter and a few nieces some skirts! They'd have a lot of fun twirling!
There's an unhappy relationship between cakes and my waistline but something about this Cocoa-berry Cake made me want to toss the tape.
Very interesting thanks. I believe there's even more that could be on there! Keep it up

It sounds so silly now but it caused quite a stir, suddenly the new trend was causing a rise in handbag and shoe sales.
